Eastern Refrigeration Supply Co. Ltd. was founded in 1963, by George Merkel, at 38 Cranfield Road in Toronto and is owned and operated by George and his two sons David Merkel and Doug Merkel.

Eastern’s head office and central distribution warehouse is located at 49 Riviera Drive in Markham, Ontario. There are also three large branches located in East Toronto, West Toronto and Hamilton.

Eastern is a fully stocked distributor of all the industry recognized manufacturers - Copeland, Luxaire (York), Honeywell, Keeprite Refrigeration, Dupont, and Sporlan, etc.
